You do not need to react to all their advice but remember; you sought them out because they are successful, and maybe there is a good deal of sound thinking behind their strategies.
- BE TENACIOUS – the very next sales call you make to a potential client may be the one that provides the difference between success and failure.
- BE CONSISTENT - Don’t be complacent with; or dismissive of, the small jobs. Give every task your very best for you never know when that small job will lead to a far greater opportunity in the future.
- BE STRONG – deal with your losses, your staff, clients, services or partners if they are not working out. Hesitation (weakness) will lead to your demise or certainly cost you dearly. If in doubt follow your instincts as commented above.
- REVIEW THE PLAN OFTEN – you must be in a position to assess your own performance and that of your business. Plans can be changed, given a new direction, but without an initial plan you are simply flying blind, making impromptu decisions and reacting to situations rather than implementing the well thought out proactive action of a planned strategy.
